About
Jim Bjorkes - Producer/Writer/Creative/Host
Writer, Producer, and on-air talent extraordinaire, Jim spent years of his life traveling (50+ countries and counting baby!), working, and wooing (with varying degrees of success) foreign women. There were some successes, some failures… various pieces of paper earned (BCIT Marketing Diploma, Lakehead BBA, VFS Screenwriting Diploma) but then one day, in a far off land called LA - Jim met Erin.
That in itself wasn’t overly monumental, (she wasn’t his type) but what WAS monumental was this: Erin had a camera, Erin liked to use the camera. Jim really liked being on camera…. and a beautiful partnership was born.
Oh yeah, he’s also a damn good writer, with articles published in numerous magazines and newspapers. He’s completed a half-dozen novels & screenplays, two short films - (one of which is REALLY embarassing and involves morphing into a radioactive Canada Goose which he hopes you will never ever see), AND he also hosts and produces a really cool radio gig - THE TRAVEL INSIDER, on CHUM RADIO.
Not too long ago he bought a $22,000 Harley Davidson for a dying women to fulfill her last wish - so don’t ask him for money.
Erin Mogul - Producer/Creative/Editor
Erin began her career in 1990 where she worked at the Rogers Cable Studios in Richmond, B.C. She researched, wrote, hosted, filmed, edited and later produced several programs for the station, including “A Cheapskates Guide to a Good Time”.
She spent five years honing her skills, during which time she began her studies in the Journalism Program at B.C.I.T. In 1992, Erin worked at BCTV where she assisted in copywriting and pre-production research.
The 90’s brought work at Vancouver’s number one station (at the time!) LG73 , and then Z95.3. In 2001 she began writing for magazines, and co-published a magazine for women in the Fraser Valley. She was hired by a large realty firm in 2003, where she branded entire buildings and condo projects located across Canada.
In 2004, she co-founded Deep Seeded Productions with Danika Dinsmore.
In 2006, she was the producer of the first award ever handed out for best Public Service Announcement of the year through Women In Film Vancouver. In 2007, Erin finished her first two docs, Million Dollar Hunch and Hope’s Gift. Most recently she has focussed most intensely on creating a strong web presence for her growing client base.
She happily resides in the Fraser Valley, where she continues to promote, support and publicize all that is Indie.
